"My map has proved inaccurate. So if you could just provide directions..."

"Sorry. He chained me up here, but he never took me to his lair or his den or whatever you call the place that dragons spend their time. But you could wait here for him. He comes to check up on me every so often and to have a little gloat."

"All right then. What shall we do to pass the time?"

"I suppose that I should start by introducing myself. I already mentioned that I'm a warrior princess."

"So I suppose that you must be Princess Astra of Aquilaria. That's the only country that has warrior princesses, and there aren't any other princesses the right age."

It was unmannerly of Fred to forestall her introduction, but at least he had demonstrated that he had two brain cells to rub together, when he chose to use them. "Quite right," she said. "Please just call me Astra."

"Very well, Astra. While we wait for the dragon, shall we play I-Spy? I spy with my little eye, something beginning with T."

It had better not be 'tits', Astra thought. "Tunnel," she guessed.
