The Green Room

To Fred's surprise the latch opened easily. On the other side was a lavish bed chamber. Against the far wall was a four poster bed, with green drapery hanging closed around it. Against the walls around the room were bed tables, dressers and a large free-standing wardrobe. Oil lamps with green shades hung from the walls, and the floor was covered with a large green rug. To their right, double doors and green curtains stood half open to a balcony which looked out into the darkness, presumably over a cavern below. To the left was another heavy banded door like the one they had just come through, flanked, like this one, by two empty suits of armour with pikes adorned with green pennants.

"I hope you like green," said Fred. "What shall we investigate first?"

1. The bed.
2. The balcony.
3. The door.
4. The wardrobe.
