... in what would thereafter be known as "The Mudspot Incident," Lord Fred was discovered violating the disembodied head of the town magistrate. Covered in blood, viscera, and (strangely enough) orange marmalade, Lord Fred acted as if he did not understand his crime. "It was a bloody mess," said James Warfeld, tax collector, the man who discovered the scene. "There were at least six bodies, and apparently Lord Fred had been eating them. There was also a huge quantity of marmalade around several of the bodies, and Lord Fred kept saying that he 'had to check' to see if there was more in the town. It took six guards to overpower him and restrain him." What caused one of Allaria's bravest nights to go off his rocker? We may never know, but one thing is certain: Some people are full of orange marmalade.
We rejoin Fred, locked in a maximum security dungeon, clothed in rags... how is he doing?
