DO IT... intoned the sepulchral voice. A man wearing overalls
sighed and typed in the word "EXECUTE" into an archaic looking computer
terminal, then pressed the "Enter" key. His nametag read : HORACE L. SPENKELMEYER Tower Services Director There is a soft whir, a distinct click, and the tall variance of the Tower came into being. "I hope you are right..." Horace muttered to himself. Scott Chen (secretly Scott Childers, but he won't reveal that for a long time) and Josh Burbank stand by a window looking out into dense fog. The window has a Tower Window and Glass sticker on it. The teal couches, six of them, all are bright and new and covered in plastic. The television is a nice new LED Samsung model, hooked up to satellite with all the channels and a 1TB DVR extender. A 200 WATT THX 7.1EX surround sound system is perfectly placed throughout the room. There is a TV manual on a table in front of the couch directly in front of the TV. Boxes of food are neatly stacked throughout the room, closed with packing tape with 'Best Consumed in a Temporal Stasis' stamps on them. The giant staircase comes up through the floor and goes into the ceiling, and both of them find themselves strangely shocked to find that it is not inaccessible at all, but features a swing-out entryway. The stairs themselves are polished wood, and the walls of the room are as well. In the kitchen can be glimpsed brand new appliances. Scott and Josh stand there, gaping, trying to take in what has happened to them and where they are. That is when Scott notices the 'WTF Just Happened and Where Am I?' booklet on the table by the kitchen. There is another one of them on the coffee table by the remote controls.
