The Never Ending Quest - Episode 8060

Fred lay in his bed with his pillow over his head and both hands over his ears. It still wasn't enough to shut out the storm outside his fathers' castle.
Another deafening thunderclap rumbled over the sky and Fred screamed like a lost soul in the clutches of Hel. Any minute now the castle would be crushed under the raging stormcreatures. Fred grandmother had told him all about them, the giant monstrosities, large as mountains, who creates disasters as they battle each other all over the world.

Thunder is the sound of their wingflaps and lightning shoots from their mouths whenever they open them. When they fly close to the ground their wings sweep the winds across the land. With a wingspan of several miles their shadows darken the clouds as they whip the rain from them down over the earth.

All Fred could do was pray that they wouldn't see the castle and destroy it.
