The Path to the Mall

"Would you, sir, be kind enough to give me directions to this mall?"

The lava man's eyes narrowed and his brow furrowed. He was thinking deeply about his answer.

"Sir Fred, I shall give you those directions. The way is not easy, and if you attempted the route now, you would surely die of asphyxiation. You would have to continue on through this cavern. The way becomes narrower, to the point where you could barely squeeze through. There is a wide tunnel and a narrow and smooth bore. The shopping mall can be reached through the bore. However, at this juncture, the tunnel is filled with noxious gas, and there you would likely die. However, I believe that there is a formula that would allow you to pass."

"Could you give me the formula, my good creature?"

1. "Yes. All the ingredients can be found in the caves, although some will be easier to obtain than others."
2. "Regrettably I am not an alchemist. I do know one who may be able to help you, however."
