Why All Faerie Dragons are Pranksters

"I've never dealt much with faerie dragons," admitted Belboaz, setting down his book and standing up to fetch a different one, "but I'll try to help." The necromancer glanced at the unfortunate Fred occasionally as he searched for something in the new book.

Fred clicked his claws impatiently on the stone floor, looking around vengefully for shoelaces.

"Ah, here it is!" said Belboaz. "Ten pranks for the first level, ten for the second, twenty for the third, thirty for the fourth, fifty for the fifth... I'm sure you're seeing the pattern." The young necromancer quickly started to slip into a drone as he started reading straight out of the book.

Fred soon found himself starting to doze off. As he drifted off, he found himself wondering why, exactly, society turns out necromancers. Belboaz seemed a nice enough sort... Maybe the real crime was just boringness!

What does Fred do now?

1. He shakes himself and manages to stay awake to listen.
2. Fred falls asleep on Belboaz's floor.
3. Fred ignores Belboaz and starts looking around for good pranks.
