For a moment, Scott could have sworn he saw vile monkeys with butts for
faces flying at him, but then everything goes white. He is standing in a
big nothingness. Reaibn then walks up to him. "I am sorry, Scott" he says. "There are limits. I just couldn't have you come up against flying butt monkeys. I will get fined again by the Story Cops. Instead, I am thinking that I will just throw you back in the Staircase Room." Scott, thinking quickly, punches Reaibn in the kidney. "Arrghhh! My organs!" yells Reaibn. Scott then grabs the front of Reaibn's robe. "Look here, buddy, we go way back, and I do not want to fight you. But I am done with that Staircase room. Whenever I am there, I act like a complete tool. It is only with sufficient distance that I begin to have intelligence and common sense. Stop effing around with my character, and let me have an adventure. Bring the caves back, but change the butt monkeys into something more sensible. Guh!" and then Scott lets him go, his face flushed. Reaibn stands up, and smooths out the front of his robes. "Ahem," he says. "I am very sorry, Scott. of course. You have the right to have adventures just as much as the next person. I apologize. Forgive an old friend." At Scott's nod, Reaibn rubs his hands together. "Ok, I will give you a few choices. Pick, and I will make it happen" What does Scott choose?
