Scott chose to open the red door. Even he didn't know why. Was it because red was his favorite
color? Was it because of nostalgic memories of his red fire truck toy which he blew up with
plastic explosives at age 7? Was it because the only woman he had ever truly loved, Lucia, was a
redhead? Was it because of a mysterious premonition, foreshadowing mysterious powers of
foresight which he would one day use to save the multiverse from destruction?
Well, no. It was because the author was lazy and picked the first option. At any rate, Scott ran hurriedly through the door, desparate to escape Manilow. Once he'd passed through (as is usual for addventure characters he didn't look at what was on the other side of the door before he passed through it), he found that he was alone in a vast silvery plain covered with craters. Yep, it was the moon. Scott then realized he wasn't really supposed to be breathing on the moon and started screaming and waving his arms around. "Versetzen Sie nicht in Panik. Sie können gerechte Geldstrafe atmen," said his sock. That was when Scott realized that he was in fact breathing after all. "Hey, how can you speak on the moon? Why is my sock talking?
