No time for niceties...just results!

Yes, there is no time for a more elegant, subtle approach. Seeker has an odd feeling that if he could just somehow establish comms with the Voyager's Main Computer, he could get her to teleport Torres out of harms way. However, scans reveal that like the rest of the ship, things are going....wonky shipwide. Thus, a more brutal approach is needed if the Star Fleeter is going to be saved.

Kane smiles as the defiant dream constructs glares up at him from where she had dove for cover. She knew that there was no escape, but was not going to cringe or beg for mercy.

Kane nodded in approval. Kane was many things considered evil, but he still was human enough to admire bravery even in non-human things.

"I will make this quick....and painless," Kane says, almost tenderly as he takes aim from the doorway. He then shouts in surprise as a crimson flash of light sears it's way through the window of the room, and the window blows outward in a gale of wind.

Things seem to move in slow motion as he makes a dive away from the doorway...trying to NOT be sucked out into the vacuum surrounding the mock Voyager. He feels himself being dragged back, though he's clawing at the ground. He sees the dream construct scream in fear as she is bodily dragged out of the room and out the window. However, before the safety protocols slam the door shut, sealing the room and maintaining atmospheric integrity, Kane swears he sees a beam of light engulf the construct.....and drag her quickly into some type of ship.

A ship sleek in design with the nose painted in the style of a shark....as did some American pilots have their fighting craft painted back in WW II.

Somebody just interfered with my assignment....and my Master will be most displeased, Kane thinks to himself, and shivers. By Allah, I hope that I can convince him to spare me to continue to try to finish what he assigned me!

B'Elana Torres sputters and swears as soon as she feels the chamber fill with life giving atmosphere. She shivers and rubs her hands, trying to warm herself.

1. "Sorry for the rough rescue, but there was little choice in the matter," Seeker apologizes through the ship's PA system, startling the half frozen Engineer.
