Stacy tells all

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 6718

Betty listened with apparent interest, nodding politely a few times as Stacy told her story. Stacy wasn't sure whether the other woman believed her or not, but it felt good to finally confide in someone, nonetheless. Finally, she finished up: "...and so, here I am. I thought I'd go out to the VLA tomorrow, just to see if it'd trigger any memories. I'm not sure what else to do."

Betty looked thoughtful. After a long moment, she said:

  1. "Well, that's... that's a heck of a story." Stacy could hear the doubt in her voice.
  2. "You know something... This explains a lot. "
  3. "Well, listen, I suppose I could go with you... I don't think I can get you into the control room on short notice, but I could show you around the public areas..."
