The Never Ending Quest - Episode 61901

Near exhaustion, Lord Fred slumped against the damp, cold stone of the cavern walls. With an anguished look emblazoned upon his face, he surrendered. He had been walking for weeks and the last traces of hope were now gone. No more food, no more water, no more strength.. Here, today, deep below the surface world, Lord Fred perished, alone. His lifeless body fell to the ground, and the cavern faded away into blackness. Death had consumed Fred. Yet awareness remained.. Suddenly, from the depths of the blackness, a voice called out, "Lord Fred, you have been summoned into the realm of nothing at the decree of Zarnexa, Mistress of Shadows. Our Queen has taken a great interest in you and has tasked me with delivering to you the choice of one of three gifts that come directly from my Mistress herself. These gifts all come from the Void Reaches, and all will help you on your journey. But you may only choose one. OH YES, by the way, you did not die -- entering our realm simply seems that way to your species. Once you have chosen your gift, I will return you to the cavern labyrinth where i found you, and return life to your body. Now please choose a gift."

  1. Lord Fred chooses the baby Shadow-wisp. He will train it to be a loyal companion and servant.
  2. Lord Fred chooses the Phial of Transmogrifiance. He will use it at the right time to transform himself into a gorgeous young maiden.
  3. Lord Fred chooses the Spell-shard. He will unleash its power upon any enemy, completely eradicating his foe.
