The Never Ending Quest - Episode 59935

Breaking his nose, Fred falls back into the crowd, right onto someone's
pitchfork. He feels a sudden stabbing pain as the pitchfork rips through
him. The pain increases to the point at which he can bear it no longer.
Fred passes out.
Many hours later Fred wakes with a stabbing pain in his back. Probably from
the pitchfork.
Why is Fred still alive?
