Putting things in perspective....

On one human/furry Voyager....

"Captain, we....nearly collided with another Voyager!" Ensign Kim sputters in answer to Vixen Janeway's tersely asked question.

"And we scraped!" Human Lt. Paris puts in with a shaky voice.

"Steady there," the Vixen says in what she hopes in a reassuring and calming voice. Human Paris swallows nervously, still shaking in reaction, and turns back to the Main Viewer.

"We're presently trying to hail them right now...." Human Ensign Kim continues.

"We're being hailed by the other Voyager," furry Seven of Nine says in her calm voice, mink tail twitching.

The Vixen Janeway, just having gotten the basic account from the recently arrived Human Ensign Solomon (re: 5797) when a horrid scrapping sound emanated throughout the entire ship. She had immediately left her ready room, wanting to know just what the hell was going on!

Right, we've gotten the information....so, furry Janeway thinks to herself, ears twitching in annoyance.

"Answer their hail," the Captain says. "Then get Tuvok, which ever one is available, up here ASAP and....put furry Solomon in the Brig, for I know what you did."

Furry Solomon looks at his human counterpart, who is shaking his head sadly. He'd been present when Colonel Probe's (retired) message had played, telling Captain Janeway the basics about what had happened (the Solomon twins attempt to sabotage the death ship production line....and Probe's group of AI's counter attack, in cyberspace that blocked the attempt). The AIs had also plundered all of Voyager's data files in order to find out the ENTIRE story behind the attack (they believe in leaving no stone unturned in the search for the truth), and had found that the Solomons were wholly responsible for their actions (i.e. the Janeways hadn't sanctioned the cyberattack). Only the facts finding mission, presented in the right fashion by Probe's AIs, had prevented the enraged Alliance Commanding Officer from killing each and every one of the Voyager crew (...let's just say that there had been EARLIER attempts of sabotage from other quarters...and Sterndeck had had enough of it all).

Instead, the AIs had convinced him that a judicious presentation of facts (via the recently rescued analog of the Enemy ravaged Voyager) would put the point across about the Enemy most persuasively!

The Human Ensign Solomon who'd had a bad run in with some demifoxes (and infected and transformed by that strain of lycanthropy), was being "corrected" by a powerful magical persuasion (i.e. he'd been fed actual memories of events and acts from an actual Enemy operative....not something for the weak of heart, re: 5874).

All this is going through the angry vixen Janeway's mind as Security appears (in record time).

Security appears and escorts the flabbergasted Ensign away from the livid vixen and into the turbolift BEFORE a VERY familiar human analog appears on the Main Viewer.

"Oh....dear," Captain Janeway (the one on the screen) breathes in shock.
