The way back was now kneed deep in foul, brackish water.

  1. Wade in.
  2. Turn around again.
  3. Call for help.
  4. Have a drink.
  5. Splash around like a little boy.
  6. Fred notes the interesting brown and grey colors on the wall.
  7. On the wall, well above the water, were paintings of pastoral scenes. Each one had something horrible lurking in the details.
  8. Fred tries to make a 'water angel'.
  9. The water retreats at an alarming pace. Fred panics.
  10. Fred eats some grass he found.
