To the Right!

A warm breeze blew from the cave. They continued on inside. Strangely, it did not get darker as they continued on inside the cave.

A ways into the cave, they came to a fork. Down one direction went a trail of water, but it got darker down that end. Down the other end it seemed to be getting even brighter still.

In addition, there was some sort of makeshift grave here. On it was inscribed the words "Here lies Sir Fred. Fred's Dead, Baby. Fred's dead."

Suddenly, it began to dawn on Sir Paulito. "If Fred is dead, baby, who the hell are you?"

1. "I'm Fred from the past, here to aid you and prevent my future death!"
2. "I'm the ghost of Fred. Boo!"
3. "I'm Evil Fred! Prepare to die!"
4. Fred disappears in a puff of logic, and Sir Paulito continues on his way.
5. Unable to cope with the grievious continuity error, Fred runs like hell.
