The Fairy Is Most Displeased

"Belboz you-- you-- you lout!" she hollered at the evil necromancer. And to Fred's surprise Belboz actually cringed before the winged sprite. "I can't believe it! After our lover's quarrel you had the utter temerity, the unforgivable gall, the absolute nerve to send me flowers!?! What were you thinking!"

"Um, that you liked flowers?" Belboz smiled weakly at his under-sized pixy-faced paramour.

"Flowers are for LOSERS!" she bellowed. "Flowers are for tree-hugging dryads and half-brained brownies! Do I look stupid?! Do I look like I want to hug a friggin tree!"

Fred stared at the fairy. From where he was standing she most definitely did NOT look she wanted to hug a tree. Although, with her rather impressive curves, she was definitely designed to hug something.

"I -- I -- I'm sorry!" Belboz whimpered, getting down on his knees. Holding his hands beseechingly at her, Belboz begged for her forgiveness, swearing he would make it up to her. He'd take her down to the under-pits of the Lava Men for a romantic weekend, he'd have the dragon fly them to the far off peaks of Skeletos, he'd craft her the most magnificent gown ever from the silken webs of the God-Spider Kaoloth and embroider it with gems stolen from the legendary hoard of Plutharkas, he'd even go on a quest to bring her one of the fabled living statues of Ilkarion. In short, he'd do anything if she'd just let this one little mistake pass by and be nice to him again.

Fred couldn't help but smirk. Boy, for an evil necromancer Belboz sure was whipped.

The fairy pouted for a bit and then slowly smiled in a most evil fashion at the abashed Belboz. "You'd do... anything?" she said. Belboz nodded most vigorously. "Well, all right. What I want is..."
