The orb changed colors, from a light-absorbing black, to a painfully bright
white, and proceeded to smash all the windows in the great hall by crashing
into them, before flying out of the castle at Mach 5. The king groaned and
wondered how the insurance agency would try to weasel out of compensating
him for the damages the orb had inflicted.
Meanwhile, the orb had levelled the mountain range where the Dragon lived,
burying under tons of rock and causing tremendous ecological damage to the
mountain's natural surroundings.
The orb paused in mid-air, then suddenly vanished. People who had been
looking at it just before it vanished saw images of trademarked characters
flash through their heads, followed by images of the orb hurting them in
amusing ways.
