Fred looks at his father, Belboz. The man is dead. Fred looks again as the
frightened trolls runs off. Yes, this corpse sure is his father and is
dead. He knows because the picture and name matched right up, along with
the somewhat rambling stories his mother had told. Plus, the identical
hawk-noses, the clear-blue eyes, chubby cheeks, droopy ears and the weird
purple tint to the fingernails. Silly how Fred hadn't notice the family
resembalance earlier.
But why hadn't she made things more clear to Fred?
