"Hail, m'lady. I am Lord Frederigo D'Honaire," said Lord Fred, bowing
gracefully. At this, Astra turned to him with a quizzical look on her face.
"I am truly blessed this day," Astra replied. "I thought I was going to have to come looking for you." Next, before Lord Fred could do anything, she pulled out a wickedly sharp knife and slit his throat. "AGGHHHHHHHGRLLLL!" choked Lord Fred, bleeding out on the floor. "Why?" and then he died. "Nothing personal," said Astra, "but I needed to save Belinda and Carola [4663]. Slaying you was part of my task. And, gods be praised, you came to me to be killed, sparing me the trouble of finding you." With a somber look on her face, Astra bent down and closed Lord Fred's eyes. She then went to inform the dragon that part of her mission was complete.
