"What are you doing in my bedroom uninvited?" Princess Exotica asked Fred
angrily, her sword pointing at his chest and alarmingly close to
it. "You're supposed to be in the Southern Caves, slaying the dragon."
"I ran into some crazy necromancer called Belboz inside the caves," Fred explained, "and he transported me into your bedroom. I swear on my honour as a knight that this is true, Princess." However he had decided that it would be better not to mention that he had thanked Belboz for improving his sword by attempting to make an unprovoked attack on him. "I've heard of Belboz," Exotica said. "Back before I was born, he used to be the court mage, but Daddy banished him. I don't know why - Daddy wouldn't say." Fred let out a groan. "Is it very painful?" Exotica asked. "I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions and hurting you." "It's nothing," Fred said.
