Josh then gets very quiet, and crouches down near the cowering would-be
renters. "I have decided not to shoot you," he says, prompting Greg to sob
in relief. "Oh, thank God!" whimpers Greg. "Just let us get out of here, and we promise we wont ever return or tell the police or anything." Josh just smiles and nods, and goes over to one of the couches and reaches under the seat cushion. Josh pulls out a MagiTek® Brand Tranquil Dreams™ Gun and turns off the safety. He then aims it at Greg. "Good night, Greg" he says, shooting him in the neck. Greg wets himself in fear, opening his mouth to scream, and then his head hits the floor with a thud. "No!" yells Nancy, leaping up and running for the door, leaving her squashed dog on the floor "AAAHHH!!!! Help!!!" she screams, and Josh waits until she just reaches the door before he shoots her twice in the back. She lets out a final screech and then collapses. Why did they have to test me?! thinks Josh as he calmly begins taking down the wallpaper. He then removes the bricks laboriously, then the wooden planks, unlocking the door, going into the room, moving the furniture, razor wire, carefully avoids the land mines, etc. He then opens the linen closet, trying not to think of Scott's corpse, and drags in Greg and Nancy. He throws them in the back of the closet on top of Scott, and his mood begins to improve as he whistles a jaunty tune. He is feeling much better as he stacks the furniture back up, puts back the razor wire, puts more landmines down, more warning signs, then locks the door, re-bricks it up, then does a very careful wallpaper job. He then sighs and smiles at a job well done. Walking back to the couch, he trips over the remains of their dog. "Dammit!" he exclaims, looking from it to the fresh wallpaper and back to it.
