Rami was able to appreciate now how Gulliver had felt when subjected to a
similar indignity by the Lilliputians. Her own situation was arguably even
worse, since Gulliver had at least been wearing clothes.
She pulled at the ropes, but they held fast. "Don't struggle, Giantess," one of the villagers told her, "or I'll stab you with my spear." "Why have you tied me up?" Rami asked. "I mean you no harm." "We're taking no chances. If we let you go, you'd probably eat us." "Eat you! But I'm a vegetarian! I don't eat any sort of meat." "Well, you would say that, wouldn't you. But you don't fool us." "So what are you going to do with me."
