The Black Voids

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 4147

"What sorcery is this?" asks Astra, looking at the large, three- dimensional, roughly spherical black blob that now occupies the area where one of the stalls previously stood. "I know not," Fred replies, "but look!" All around them, with a series of small popping sounds, more of the black voids are coming into existence. "I think we'd better run for it," says Astra.

They head back towards the passage by which they arrived, trying to dodge between the ever-increasing number of voids.

  1. They manage to escape.
  2. POP! An extra-large black void suddenly appears right in front of them, and their momentum carries them into it.
  3. Pop! Astra finds herself immersed up to her waist in a comparatively small black void. Her skin within the void tingles. Then...
