Huh? Yeah, sure.

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 41298

The blacksmith becomes serious while describing the cave and the tools. Apparently the tools have some sort of magical properties that interest this blacksmith. As the blacksmith drones on and on Fred looks about the room at some of the more interesting articles on the wall: The two-handed sword that looks sharp enough to cut through stone; a shield with layers of armor painted gaudily enough to be on parade; a battleaxe made of a single piece of steel. This is no ordinary blacksmith.

"You listening to me?"

"Yes," replies Fred, "that cave with the tools is guarded by a vulcan and I may need a key."

"That key may be at the castle of the great wizard in the valley. And if you get that chest for me, I'll gladly make most anything you'll ever want or need. So, you'll do it then?"

"Yeah, sure," replied Fred without thinking.

"Here, then," said the blacksmith, "take this map."

Fred looked a the map as he walked down the street. Both the cave and the castle were far away. He stopped in at the stable and purchased a horse with the last of his money and . . .

  1. Rode toward the castle.
  2. Rode toward the cave.
