"So, what do I think about all this?!" Tarin-Gazin whispers in a low, annoyed voice. "I think I'm having another one of those waking nightmares I've been suffering from recently. The same type that you've been suffering from!"

"Aye, we may not be of the same race, but we both seem to be gifted.....or cursed with the bit of the Sight......" the barrister sighs quietly, shaking his head. "But never this strong! And it all started.....just about the time when.....if these people are telling the truth!......the 'analogs' started showing up......"

"Ah yes, the analogs," murmurs Tarin darkly, feeling like caressing his battle ax for comfort. "If the Visions are true....then the dream of me being bitten.....and then killed.....by a bite from a demi-fox holding the SAME looking object that that......female golem seems to possess.....in duet....."

"I seem to have had the same....Dream," the lawyer shivers. "And I seemed to have suffered....a nasty accident from a small humanoid demi-fox.....with a knife." Of it's own accord, Rift's hand carressed his neck. ".....still, from a general impression......"

"Those people....those versions of us had it coming?" the dwarf asks, curious. "I'd argue the point, but that's neither here or there.....it isn't like the people who DID it are in this room!"

You'd be surprised how wrong you are! Inquirer thinks, looking over at Fred 2, Fred 1 and Para-Astra.

Fred 2 is looking more than a little befuddled as Para-Astra is down on one knee and....proposing marriage to HIM! Probe is giving Inquirer a wry look that seems to say: Just another part of culture shock for Fred 2. Inquirer suppresses a chuckle, remembering that by the customs of Aqualaria, 'tis the FEMALE who usually pursues the male in courtship....and not the reverse!

Clapping and cheering break out as Fred 2 sputters out "I....accept!" Fred the manfox is humming a wedding march and Alicia is giving off a foxy grin of pleasure at this all. Duke Dredrick looks a little taken aback by the role reversal, but then nods and smiles.

Looks like Fred 2's brood will have their mother after all, Probe murmurs to himself. Frankly, the AI/golem had pretty much figured that.....when he witnessed how Astra 2's heart seemed to melt when she laid eyes upon her offspring......that she'd only been trying to later on satisfy some type of matter of.....pride......before finally coming to this point.

She's ready......for the joys and pains of motherhood,Inquirer thinks to herself, on a similar track.

Her attention turns back to the whispering duo.....

1. "Why is it that you humans always seem to put such a high praise on marriage?" Tarin whispers in exasperation.
