Almost too late....

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 3997

Just as Seeker wills the connection to be severed, Seeker slaps the magical sapphire onto the faux Oracle's forehead. So, when the initial sensation of Seeker's consciousness being pulled into the gem makes it's self known to the treacherous AI, for the first few microseconds, puts it down as the connection being severed. However, as the sensation increases, Seeker realizes that something is definitely wrong. The AI screams in terror as the truth dawns on him.....that he's "falling."

The Avatar slumps grows limp and drops to the ground as the combatants realize that the fight is over. They turn and see Inquirer grimly smiling and holding up the madly sparkling gem withing her gloved hand.

"Gotcha," Inquirer whispers fiercely. The female AI/golem then turns, and sees if......

No, way too late.

All thoughts of casting quick spells to disguise the manimals as amazonian warriors died in the birthing, as well as altering the fallen Amazonian patrol into the likeness of the Manimals, making them look like they'd been slain by the others.

The Manimals throw down their weapons and hold up their hands in a non-threatening manner. This brings a befuddled reaction from the encroaching forces of Aqaularia and the town guard, who had come running (after FINALLY being able to push their way past the panicked towns people) expecting a fight. Tarin, the dwarf, steps forward, ax at the ready.

"What in the name of the Forge is going on here?!" the angry dwarf shouts.

  1. "I believe that I can explain," Frederigo D'Honaire, the leader of the Pack, says calmly as his tail flicks back and forth.
