Unfortunately he gets a really stupid monster to train. It's a foot square, furry on all sides, skin-cuttingly sharp at the corner, levitates and it's attacks are basically 'Flee', 'Flee Faster' and 'Barf Up Foul Smelling Watery Liquid'.
Chakotay despairs.

  1. Chakotay tries to train his monster.
  2. Chakotay sells it for some flour.
  3. Chakotay fries it up and eats it.
  4. Chakotay trains it to be near-invincible.
  5. This thread is sued out of existence. Chakotay finds himself back home, eating a salad.
