Astra's Mysterious Reasons

"You seem like a very nice person," Astra said. "We've talked for hours and had so much fun."

Suddenly she swung down from the ladder and wrapped her thighs around Fred's neck. "Oh my!" Fred chuckled. "I didnt realize..." but then Astra leaned back to send them both falling into the lava flow. Fred screamed as Astra caught the lowest rung and they both hung there, inches above certain death.

"In Aqualaria we call this the Royal Guillotine," Astra explained amiably. "Now, before I let you drop, I suppose you should explain to me why you killed your liege lord, the man who reputedly raised you as his own son after the Dragon killed your father."

"Wh-why do you care?!" Fred cried, trying to grab at Astra's clothing. "Are you looking to collect the bounty on my head?!"

"Aqualaria takes its foreign affairs very seriously."

"Ok, I'll tell you," Fred panted. "The reason I killed the King was..."

1. "He was the one who really killed my father."
2. "I had to test to see if it was an illusion!"
3. "Cause I'm a rebel without a cause, and I like to kill people. Damn bitch, let it go!!"
