Fred murmured his assent, and she sang again, her sigils writhing. This time, she stopped with a frown on her face. "This isn't good, not good at all," she said. "If my spell is right, then a short distance around the next corner, the cave ends."

"What about the other direction?" asked Fred.

"The cave ends a short distance past that as well."

"How is that possible?" This did not make any sense to Fred. "Does it empty out into the Dragon's chamber, or what?"

Siva looked quite irritated, and more than a little scared. "I do not know. The spell indicates that the caves are now very small indeed. It is unable to tell us what lies outside in either direction. Which way should we go, Fred?"

Fred and Siva discussed it at length, but in the end decided to continue on around the next bend and see what lay there. And so they did.

A man stands with a clipboard outside a cave entrance, ticking off a checklist. "I think we are ready to go live with this one, Bob," he says, grinning. "The latest feature for our theme park, Relics of a Forgotten Past, is ready." He pushes a button on a remote and a giant flashy neon light turns on above the caves: Allaria IV: The Southern Caves.

Another man, balding, with thick glasses, nods. "Looks great! I am going to check on the dragon exhibit," and he gets in a motor powered scooter and drives off.

A short ways off, a woman is watching the latest promo video on her phone.

(voiceover)UAS (United Allarian States) was once the Great Kingdom of Allaria. An ancient history, rich with magic and kings, betrayal and heroism, has now been fully unearthed by the HPS (Historical Preservation Society).

View changes to a closeup of entering the city gates, and food vendors and people shopping in the streets, zooming up and in and around, showing people living life and going about their daily business.

(voiceover)HPS presents the latest in our worldwide Relics of a Forgotten Past exhibits... The Great Kingdom of Allaria!. View the capitol city of Caemlyn as it was then, even visit the castle and meet the king! (image of castle shown, majestic towers and sweeping battlements) Choose from events such as a Coronation, Caemlyn at War, or Thursday!

The view zooms out, then fuzzes into showing a small village, with quaint stone buildings and farmers on the outskirts.

(voiceover)HPS presents Allaria II: Redstone, a recreation of a small village from the Great Kingdom. While not on the scale of Caemlyn, Redstone is a working village where you can experience the life of a citizen of that city. You can try out a trade, be a visitor and sleep in the Inn, or any other number of activities.

The view zooms out again, then zooms into the snarling visage of a dragon!

(voiceover)HPS presents Allaria III: The Dragon, an exhibit chronicling the life and times of the plague of Allaria, the dragon that terrorized the kingdom until it died of old age. Never was a hero able to slay this magnificent beast, though many tried. View the dragon's bones, completely excavated. Explore the dragon's hoard, re-created for your viewing, and fully interactive! The latest addition to this exhibit is the cave where you can encounter the dragon yourself. This HPS visi-gen recreation lets you interact with the dragon on any scale, from servant to master, attacking knight to challenging mage. Or maybe you just want to chat with the dragon? Whatever you want, HPS will make it happen.

(voiceover)Finally, HPS presents our biggest exhibit yet. Allaria IV: The Southern Caves! Using full immersive Magi-Tek, you will enter the caves much as an adventurer would back in the days of the great kingdom. In there you will find peril and adventure, treasure and terror! Meet individuals like Belboz, the cranky old necromancer and later Prime Minister of the Allarian Republic. Maybe you will run into a princess chained to the wall, maybe you will fall into a trap. Every adventure is different, every adventure is exciting! You could even run into the dragon!

The woman, a beautiful brunette with brilliant blue eyes, looks up from the screen. "This latest promo is great I want it run twice every hour, on all channels that we sponsor. On channels we influence, I want it on every hour at primetime. "

"Yes, director," says another man, wearing a blue suit. He punches some icons on his tablet computer and then takes off in another cart.
