Fred the Knight, Astra, and Veleus the boy dog all agree that there was
something strange about this eerie lighted room. The lights had a slight
greenish-amber glow. Astra's eyes searched Fred's facial expression, "Do
you feel it?"
Veleus barked and barked at what appeared to be a altar.
"Yes, Lady Astra, I do feel something." His eyes began to travel at her
beauty, then he blushed at what he was thinking and knew he shouldn't, at
least not now.
Astra began to noticed the altar, "Look Sir Fred!"
The altar was scorched from the fire, an once intact book laid open for
all to read. Astra began to read out loud the obscure language and print
from the book. Her voice was a bit sing-song, but young Fred did not
understand one word she was saying nor could he make her stop.
Even Veleus the boy dog, seemed to be in a trance, leaning against the
altar.
Another voice intwined with Astra, slowly began to speak in Fred's language.
"Darkness I came not from light.
Fear me you must."
Your eyes are full of arrogance and lust.
You may have a sword but not very bright."
At the last line from the book, a chilly breeze mixed with intense heat
entered the room. Astra's voice continued to speak the poems from the book
and a voice no one longer speaking with her.
Fred could not make her stop nor could he awake the Veleus the boy dog.
"Young Fred, full of arrogance and lust come here!" The voice demanded.
"Where are you?" asked Fred.
"Here!"
"Where?"
A blinding light showered in the room, there standing before him, the
Dragon, that he was supposed to kill.
"Astra, the warrior princess speaks Draco very well. She is quite a
beauty. Do you have lust for her?"
Sir Fred did not know in what to do. His sword felt like icy-heat either
frost bite crippled his hand or burned it with a gruelling heat. His sword
was quite useless toward this dragon.
