Four Little Dragons

Fred ran away screaming like a lunatic. In the context of things, this was understandable, for there were four small dragons blocking the path. The sight of dragons this small should not have bothered a tested adventurer like Fred, but it was not the dragons themselves that were the problem. Not being fully grown, and not having obtained their full power, they were not dangerous. However, he knew that somewhere nearby their mother was lurking, and she would not be happy to see Fred and Glenda near her brood. Fred was hoping to catch the dragon by surprise; he did not want to face a protective mother dragon at her most ferocious; that would be suicide.

Glenda had the same idea, running after Fred. One of the little dragons thought that this was a grand game, and he happily chased Fred and Glenda down the path. Glenda, being barefoot, had to slow down to avoid rocks on the path, and she fell behind Fred. Suddenly,

1. Fred and Glenda came to the original pool.
2. the little dragon caught Glenda. He did not quite know what to do with her.
3. Fred looked up and saw a great dragon flying directly over his head. (This was a vast cavern.)
