A Less than Gallant Moment

Jane Hale had been a school teacher in the town of Redstone. She was abducted by the dragon on a whim, and chained to the staircase until he could think of what to do with her. She had a faithful husband, four children, and was smart, funny, and capable.

She was also, now, very dead.

"That's that!" said Belboz, after she fell dead. He dismissed the water elemental, then scratched his beard. After he and Fred made it over to the staircase, by the body, he posed a question. "Now, we have a choice. I can reanimate her as any number of undead types, each with their own pros and cons."

He then presented Fred with a short description of the various types of undead. Fred sighed, not really caring about this type of thing, but he put on a fake grin to make the Necromancer feel like he was appreciated (they aren't pleasant when they feel slighted).

1. Fred selects the slow (but unquestioning and dependable) zombie. "My favorite," says Belboz with a grin.
2. Fred picks the magical (and terrifying) ghast. "Hard to control, but I like your style!" said Belboz
3. Fred chooses the powerful (and uncontrollable) lich. "That is stupid. I won't do that," says Belboz, and farts again.
4. Fred options for the strong (but still obedient) ghoul. "A perfect balance. I like the cut of your jib!" agrees Belboz.
5. Fred decides on....
6. Meanwhile, Redstone organizes a rescue party for their favorite schoolteacher.
