"Fertal, what in God's name are we doing?" Artizza asks Fertal, shaking
her head (which is still spinning from the sudden situation they have been
thrown into here). She is sitting behind him on the flying horse that they
have been given for transport, as they head through the night sky.
"Good question." Fertal replies. "We know so little about this land of Daria. Or the neighnouring land of Zendara where this Princess Rebecca is supposed to be, no doubt well guarded. Nor do we have more than the vaguest idea of just where in Zendara she might be." "It seems tough on her to have to die, if what's been happening isn't her fault." "But if she's a tool of this other group of evil mages, and killing her is the only way to save the world from turning into Hell, then what other choice is there?" "I don't know," Artizza replies, "but can we at least talk to her and get her side of the story before we make the final decision to kill her?" "That could be dangerous...
