River falls and waterways

The raft floated upstream for hours. Fred was beginning to get bored again. As the raft floated up the river, it came to a waterway carved into the stone, above which was a waterfall. Fred scrambled to his feet and hugged the mast with all his might as the raft went up 90 degrees into the air and began floating up the waterfall. Fred hung on for dear life, but the mast was slippery and he was losing his grip. He knew he would not be able to hang on long. Then, suddenly--

1. The raft reversed direction again, and Fred and the raft plummeted 150 feet into the river
2. A dancing bald man on a floating rock above Fred began peeing into the river
3. Fred's grasp slipped and he found himself plummeting to his death
4. The raft finally made it up and over the falls. Fred is quite relieved
