The Moley Mole and Fred - A Lackluster Title Story

"What?" asked Fred, "a mole? What kind of mole? Has she had it checked out? Those things can be benign but sometimes.." and then he was hushed by Quirlos.

"Just get in there!" said Quirlos, motioning hurriedly towards the door. "She will already know you are here, there is no need for an introduction." Lord Fred nodded, opened the door, and stood amazed...

The Elf sitting on her ivy throne was perhaps the most beautiful creature that Lord Fred had ever seen. It was all he could do not to fall to his knees. On her right cheek there is indeed a tiny mole, but to call it grotesque would require overly sensitive elven sensibilities.

"Pardon my appearance," said the Queen Mother, "I know my face is unsightly". Lord Fred shook his head, trying very hard to look at her face as the Queen Mother was entirely naked upon her throne, her hair falling down gracefully across her pale skin. "Let us get right to it, you seek to end Castellan."

"Yes, milady," said Lord Fred. "I seek to end him, and others, such as-"

"I know of the list," interrupted the elven queen. "Call me Elandrai, for it is one of my many names. Castellan is first and foremost the one who must be dealt with. If I was at my full power, I would end him myself. As it stands... I can assist you."

"Lady Elandrai," said Fred, provoking a smile from her, "I would be most thankful for any help that you could provide. I must confess that until now I had believed your people long departed from our world, and in fact had apparently confused your race with faerie folk."

"It is no great offence to us, Quirlos merely thinks it so," she said, smiling at Lord Fred, "as for the help I can provide..."

1. I can enchant your weapon with pure order magic. It will be anathema to Castellan and all his chaos magic.
2. I can imbue you with our life magic, making you a powerful swordmage in your own right.
3. I can bake you some elven cookies. They are delicious.
