The Never Ending Quest - Episode 233

The creature, now in the form of a hellhound, lept at Fred! It knocked
him down even as he furiously fought to pull out his sword. The breath of
the creature, the transformed Dragon of the Southern Caves, was horrid – a
stench of flesh consumed and bone ground-under. The claws of the hound
raked against Fred's chest-armour and he felt his skin break open from the
contact. Then the beast pulled back, giving Fred a chance to gather his
wits and his sword. Looking about he saw the Aqualarian riding the
beast! She had her chained arms around its neck and her legs flailed high
as it reared in order to free itself of her. Without another hesitation
Fred lunged at it, striking it firm across the face with his sword. The
creature screamed and leaped, sending the Aqualarian flying against a wall
and causing Fred to fear even more for his life. Then the beast charged
past Fred and ran wildly down the corridor.
