Checkers then speaks. "Fred, I need your help!" Fred backs away feebly, facing the dragon, sword ready in case the dragon makes a provocative move. "I have an idea from the poem," she whispers. "Aqualarians, are they more like you, or me?" "They don't have wings, and can read the center of your map, if that is what you mean," Fred answers softly. "Understood. I think our chances of beating the dragon by guile are better than if we try force. If the dragon attacks me, go for the eyes with your sword, but otherwise, do not do anything. I do not have time to explain." Checkers addresses the dragon. "Astra Dragon, according to the tome, 'the test of whether a dragon is telling the truth is that it can perform a barrel roll when flying when it is saying it. If it is lying, then the dragon will crash.'""What is a barrel roll? I am having problems keeping myself up as it is!" Astra thinks. She scans the minds of the two adventurers. The knight is asking the same question. From the harpy she sees an image of a dragon turning around in the air while flying, like one would turn a pig on a spit. "If I refuse, they will think that they have caught me in a lie. And I am a dragon after all. So it might not hurt to play along." Astra then beats her wings, works her way to the end of the cavern, repeats the assertion that she was Astra, Princess of Aqualaria, and wants to change back, all while attempting to perform a barrel roll.
