The Never Ending Quest - Episode 20500

The glowing green object seemed to be several different shapes at once. Fred tried not to look at it too closely.
He touched it with a pinky and BAM!
His brain shook.
When he recovered, he realized that the artifact was part of an ancient civilization. Children used it in playtime. They would touch it and get a super-power for velange or so. (Velange, the artifact declared, roughly the period of one human week).
Fred realized he had a superpower. And how to use it!
Fred's power was...

  1. control of fire.
  2. being able to create and shape ice.
  3. flight and super-strength.
  4. being able to pass through solid objects at will.
  5. force-field creation.
  6. telepathy.
  7. imitating any sound imaginable.
  8. control of his own personal gravity.
  9. turning solids into liquids.
  10. turning anything he touched into cream corn.
