Fred goes it alone

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 18323

The group, as way of apology, give Fred an enchanted sock. It would increase his running speed by five miles per hour. Fortunately, he only had to have it in a pocket and not wear it on a foot, or he would be over- balanced.

  1. Fred ponders the origins of enchanted socks. Seems weird. Why not just put the speed spell on a piece of paper?
  2. Fred puts the sock down the front of his pants. Hur hur hur.
  3. Fred eats the sock.
  4. Fred realizes he is still standing awkwardly in front of the group of beings.
  5. An hour passes. Fred finds himself on a rickety drawbridge.
  6. Fred finds a naked princess chained to a wall. Fred remembers her from a diplomatic visit. She was mean, nasty, punched kids and ate bugs.
