Paging one of the Captains.

Furry Janeway finishes her final lap on the holodeck. While she'd rather be playing the main role of one of her romance holonovels, but this holoprogram was necessary for keeping in shape. She finishes, and walks around the track one last time to cool down. Unlike her "human" counterpart, she had to pant to keep from overheating, as opposed to sweating.

"Though it is strange (pant) that I call the other (pant) Janeway 'human' and me 'furry.'" furry Janeway mutters to herself. "Because before all of this dimensional hoping business, and Baldy . . . Us 'furries' just called ourselves by the same species names as the other 'human' analogs did."

Her combadge chose that moment to chirp. Furry Janeway taps it.

"Furry Janeway here." she says.

"Captain, human Tuvok here." Tuvok says over the combadge. "Could you come up to the Ready Room, please. We are having a Department head meeting and . . . ."

"You'd like me to join you." Janeway says, smiling. "Give me a few minutes to shower and change. Janeway out."

Furry Janeway gives off a dog like grin as she heads off to the showers. Besides that incident with those other "Scotts" (a large qualifier), it had been a pleasant vacation! Heck, when was the last time she had taken shore leave in any large capacity like this? Having a "sister" had advantages. Hey, even her real sister didn't share as much in common as she and her analog did. That, with enough differences to make things interesting made for an interesting friendship.
