The Never Ending Quest - Episode 17602

Fred woke up on his sleeping bag. He wasn't a lord who slew dragons. He was a private in the Hespan armies, marching against mysterious invaders who have sailed in and taken much of the Hespan coast line. He was dirty, sweaty, hot, he hated his fellow soldiers and the only damn decent thing about this whole mess was that somehow, somehow they got decent food.
Fred tosses and turns on his sleeping bag and stares at the moon through the tree branches above.
This was intolerable. Fred decided to go awol.

  1. It works.
  2. He is caught in minutes.
  3. As Fred is sneaking away, he trips over an enemy patrol. His alarm roused the camp and saved the day. Fred is a 'hero'.
  4. Fred is captured by enemy troopers, who neeed intel.
  5. Fred goes off for a leak and finds a distressed maiden with a broken arm. She is on the run from Hespan soldiers who mean to have their way with her.
