The Never Ending Quest - Episode 175

Fred approaches the three geese which are cozily huddled together between
two stalagmites. "Excuse me," he begins, "you look like wise creatures. I
was wondering if you, too, were once human, like Velus here.
The three geese rose in unison and it is immediately revealed to Fred that
two of them were attached at the side! Before he can gasp, the singular one
speaks promptly in a well educated English accent. "Greetings, I am Lord
Ripples, eldest of the three of us and we were indeed once very respected
young men in this kingdom. Unfortunately, my two brothers are not so very
wise."
"Huh-huh-hi!" one of the invalids exclaims, his eyes popping wildly from
his head. "I"m D-d-doodles. This h-h-here's mah very best fra-friend
Munchkin." Munchkin hiccups and drools a bit.
Lord Ripples rolls his eyes. "I'm terribly sorry, sir. They are rather
dumb, if you'll excuse my saying so." He turns to them. "Munchkin! Be civil
and say hello to this good fellow."
Munchkin stares dumbly. "Duuhhh, I WANT SOME ICE CREAM!" he guffaws with an
overly dramatic lisp.
