First, he had been kicked out of his girlfriend's lodgings, where he had been crashing for the last two months, for spending too much time with his buddies, drinking ale and smoking Giggle Weed.

Then he had lost the last of his savings betting on Sir Cyclops the One-Eyed to win the morning's jousting tournament.

And now this.

Tad looked down over the ramparts at the fallen body of the knight, an arrow (which was monogrammed with the initials "TK" on the shaft just above the flight) protruding from the left eye-slit of his helmet.

"Cruddy hair-trigger shortbows!" he moaned.

1. Tad is arrested and tried for murder, treason and depriving a storyline of its main character
2. Tad tries to hit on Roman
3. Tad sues the bow manufacturer and makes a mint
