Hasty Retreat

The elf did not follow. It began to eat the magician's head. Fred was fortunate he soon ran out of hearing range.

Fred found himself at the entrance to the caves. He was weaponless and it was dark. Extremely dark. How much time had passed? It seemed as if it was later then it should be.

Fred eats some beef jerky he had in a pants pocket. Then he...

1. ...heads home to get another sword.
2. ...enters the cave that does not lead to the elf and the dead wizard.
3. ...enters the cave that -does- lead to the elf and the dead wizard.
4. ...decides to search the surrounding area for a sturdy tree branch and another way into the caves.
