Going Up?

"I mean that the dragon believes he has found a new method of terror underground. I was sent here as a spy six months ago. I was discovered and captured a few weeks ago."

"But you're not a princess."

"No. My father is Genral Gorges. He leads the royal cavalry. Do you know him?"

"I did. He died two months ago at the hand of the dragon."

The girl begins to scream out, but Fred places his hand over her mouth. "We are nearing the top."

A vast network of machinery expands above them. As they rise, Fred can see that they are not just one pit, but many all being hoisted to this level. Men scamper all about. Faint lights come from crystals embedded in the rocks above. Fred and the girl come to the top and the gondola begins to dump into a large gravel car on an underground railway.

A crew of men are there to help unload it with shovels. Fred is about to attack them but sees they are all wearing shackels. He suddenly hears a bell ringing in the distance and sees a central station with several guards running from it towards him.

1. Fred hops in the train and gets it move away from the guards.
2. Fred fights the guards and frees the workers.
3. Fred tries to run and hide.
