Chaos Energy?

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 15389

"Before I answer that, I'd like to know who I'm talking to." furry Janeway says to you. "And, what can you tell us about his planet?"

"The name is Frank Marn, Ma'am." you say. "As for any information I could give you about this place . . . . well, I have no idea how I got here. Until I ran into that huge eagle, I thought I was on Earth." You then tell what happened to you, but when you point back at the mountains that had those eagles on it, you find . . . . no mountains! You are at a lose as to what happened. The horse morph Chakotay pulls out a tricorder, and scans you with it.

"Ah, just what I thought." Chakotay says. "He has the same type of energy around him that Scott had . . . . but not as high as Scott!"

"Great." human Chakotay says, looking at you and then the tricorder. "It is a real shame that the organic material that kept Scott's energy in check . . . . evaporated on way here!"

"Huh?" you ask intelligently.

Well, the story they tell you is this a weird one. They found Scott on a mysterious planet that the Voyager that the human had been on. Scott was a well spring of "chaos energy" (energy that made almost the impossible happen on a daily basis for Scott . . . . .or to Scott, whether he wanted it to happen or not!) After several misadventures where Scott saved the Voyager from an antimatter bomb, got the human crew unassimilated from the Borg (after it had gone insane from Scott's memories.....don't ask) and dying in the process. The story got more interesting when, after the funeral, fifty other Voyagers popped in on a mission to capture and contain Scott, to keep him from bopping from time to time and universe to universe, whenever the chaos energy acted up. Through a ploy on a bald Janeway's part, the human Voyager got destroyed, but the crew was rescued and placed upon the furry Voyager. Events came to show that, through Scott (when he finally got resurrected by his chaos energy) that Baldy planned on using Scott (and a whole bunch of analog Scotts) to gain infinite power by harvesting the Chaos energy (very painful to the Scotts in question . . . . . and ultimately lethal in the process). The furry Voyager was an unwilling partner in this affair (practically slaves), but with the aid of their human counterpart, revolted. They broke away from Baldy and her cohorts, and burned out their dimensional hopper (just like it sounds, folks) and ended up (after rescuing the other Scotts from Baldy's clutches) back where they started (sans Baldy, they gave her the slip after random hopping through thousands of universes, at random). Unfortunately . . . .

"Unfortunately, two temporal anomalies caused things to go screwy." a wolf morph Paris says. "One swept all but our Scott away, the one that saved us from assimilation, and then . . . . married furry Ensign Wildman. The fact that they had a relationship seemed to be the only saving factor for our Scott, we think. The second one . . . ." He waves at the ship.

"And it also drained Scott of . . . this energy." you say in a neutral voice. You don't think you can believe this. "And the human Janeway became Head Engineer, and human Chakotay and the Torresses became . . . . Assistant Chief Engineers?!"

"In a nutshell, yes." furry Janeway says.

Do you stick around, and probably learn more about this nutty situation, or do you leave?
