Walker on things.....

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 15084

"Now, with no more delays, I shall endeavor to explain exactly who is who....and what the bloody Hell is going on here," Walker finishes up, accent thickening a little bit at the end.

With a few nods to proceed, that's exactly what Walker did.

Astra is gratified that Walker's accent grows less pronounced when she begins to explain. When her accent thickened, it usually meant she was a bit annoyed. If she REALLY got angry then she'd slip back into the utter accent and slang she grew up with back in London Sector back Home.

"Okay, I'll make it short and sweet because our new friends look ready to buy their plot," the Empress of the Dwarven Nation says, "While as Champions they won't....it's obvious that they aren't feeling too fine right now. Regent Malachi had a similar problem when she did a small tour for last years trade negotiations.

"First, in answer to Admiral Picard's question, the people who are standing with the young man who looks like a cowboy from the old American West come from the 'Dark Tower' series by Stephen King."

Picard, Kirk and the others just look blankly at Walker. There was no Stephen King back from where they hale from and matters of Star Fleet administration kept them from much recreational reading nowadays.

Yes, they were familiar with what the Military had told them about there being a Dark Tower and about Rules and Agents, but that was different and while the Net that Memory Prime was now connected to (as well as throughout the entirety of the new Federation) one could perhaps learn all there was to know about another universe......there was just so much information that one could get information overload rather easily!

"Oh my God." Garabaldi, of the Babylon 5 group, whispered. He then quietly explains the basics of the series to the still ignorant (though his knowledge isn't complete, since his reality's Stephen King was struck down by a truck during a jog before he could finish the book atfter Wizard and Glass.

"And now, before you ask, I happen to know about ya litle arrival by email," she says to the Gunslinger's group, tapping a PDA she had on her hip.

  1. After a quick explanation of what "email" was, Walker gave a quick rundown of the players before them....including herself and Tarin Gazin.
