Velus was once a boy, it is true, but along with the doggy body came doggy
instincts. When he saw a one-inch Fred running around, he couldn't
resist. He decided it was time for a snack.
It took Fred a moment to orient himself from the change. When he saw Velus running towards him he thought it was in puzzlement. Then he realized that it was in hunger. Fred ran like hell and ducked into a mousehole. Velus barked outside, and his giant paws came in and out.
