Merlyn The Mysterious Magician.

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 14074

Merlyn takes a seat on Sturdyoak booth counter. (Sturdyoak was a magical brand of tree that never quite fell apart). He is an atheltic, middle-aged man with bright yellow hair. He has a curving mustache, a sharp goatee, bright blue eyes and a green uniform. It had seemed like robes at first but it settled into green leather and leggings.
He listens to the situation. About the dragon's escapades, the lamp, the marketplace, the curse.
"Very interesting." he says. "I shall certainly have something to write about in my journal tonight."
He raises a pinky finger. "First, because I have a soft spot for dogs, kerbam!"
A flash of pink light.
"Velus, your friend, now is unable to percieve Astra's frightening aura and has forgotten about it."
Velus runs up to Fred and bumps his leg with his head.
"It's not Astra's fault she is like this, so the poor guy shouldn't suffer."
"Thank you, sir." Fred said. "About the rest of it?"

  1. "I shall help."
  2. "I cannot help, the dragon has a dear friend of mine hostage."
  3. "The rest of you can go suck an arrowhead for all I care. Goodbye." Merlyn walks away.
  4. "If you, Fred, are willing to accept two hours of unimaginable pain, I can fix Astra's curse. Such is the way of magic this week."
